American Heritage Camporee on board the
USS Massachusetts

What better place to understand our duty to our country than on the historic naval ships that served the United States in war and peace.  At Battleship Cove, home to five national historic landmarks, earn your merit badges by exploring your relationship to the past.  Discover through tours, interviews and activities what it means to be an American, then and now.  Scouts will have the choice to either take American Heritage merit badge or Radio merit badge using the actual battleship radio communications room.  If you choose to not take a merit badge, the museum and exhibits are open for exploration.  The event begins on Friday evening, Scouts will sleep on board the battleship for one night.  The program will begin Saturday morning after breakfast and will run until approx. 4pm on Saturday.   All meals for the camporee will be provided.
