Come to Kettle Pond Visitor Center, one of Rhode Island’s important National Wildlife Refuges. Earn your Archery Merit Badge with trained staff from the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service.
The Rhode Island National Wildlife Refuge Complex consists of five refuges which are part of the National Wildlife Refuge System (NWRS) administered by the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service. The NWRS is a network of lands and waters managed specifically for the protection of wildlife and wildlife habitat. It represents the most comprehensive wildlife management program in the world.
We would like to suggest that each scout do the following to prepare for the class. This information can be brought to the Merit Badge Class.
IMPORTANT: This is not the full badge, this is only target practice to complete requirement #5. Please bring your Blue Card to show you have completed requirements #1-4.
Session 2 will be using the Target Range Only. Scouts that have completed all other requirements can attend session # 2 to complete requirement 5.
Cost of this class defrays the administrative and program supply costs that the Council incurs for this program, not the USFWS
