Construction Camporee 

Cross or Drop - Duct Tape Engineering Weekend

WHO - Scouts BSA, Venture Crews Youth & Adults and Webelos attending with a Scouts BSA unit are welcome. 

WHAT - Ever wonder what you can create with duct tape? Have fun at this Camporee earning the Engineering Merit Badge  and building a duct tape bridge. Each Troop's bridge will be judged for sturdiness, creativity and how far one person can walk across. The winning troop will strive for the King of Duct Tape Victory. 

WHERE - Camp Champlin - 223 Scituate Avenue Cranston, RI 02921

• Units can check-in at the Camp Office located at the top of the parking lot
• All vehicles with the exception of the Troop trailer must be parked in the main Champlin parking lot

WHY - Hands-on opportunity to work with your Troop/patrol to earn the ENGINEERING MERIT BADGE while creating a very cool project. Scouts will work together and learn lifelong engineering skills while having fun at camp!

WHEN - Saturday October 19th 

• Check-in will be Saturday 7:00 AM - 8:30 AM 
• Program will begin at 9:00 AM 
• Awards Saturday at 4:30PM  
• Program ends Saturday at 5:00 PM

Units are responsible for providing meals to their Scouts. 

BSA activity uniform is always appropriate dress.
