Cub Scout Specific Training
WHO - This event is for Cub Scout Leaders and Assistant Leaders - new and old
WHAT - Cub Scout Leader Specific Training gives a Leader the knowledge and skills needed to deliver a quality program for their specific position. Each training lasts 3-4 hours.
The training's being offered are:
Den Leader Specific - Designed for Tiger, Wolf, Bear and Webelos Den Leaders, this course is intended to provide them with the experience, basic information, and resources they need to conduct successful den meetings. The format is based on seven parts of a Cub Scout den meeting using the Den and Pack Meeting Resource Guide.
Cubmaster Specific Training - Cubmasters and Assistant Cubmasters will learn with the basic information they need to conduct successful Pack meetings. The course is based on seven parts of a pack meeting using the Pack Meeting Plans.
Pack Committee Specific Training - This position-specific course for Cub Scout pack committee members is intended to provide members with the basic information they need to support a pack and conduct a successful pack program.
The purpose is to familiarize pack committee with the various responsibilities of the individual members of the committee as well as the committee as a whole.
The goal is to help each pack committee work as a team to improve the Scouting experience for adult and youth members.
