SHOOTING SPORTS INSTRUCTOR TRAINING

WHY - YOU CAN BE THE NEXT SHOOTING SPORTS INSTRUCTOR!

After completing this training, participants will receive the BSA Shooting Sports certification that will allow them to operate ranges under the supervision of a BSA certified Shooting Sports Director.

WHO - This event is for registered BSA adult members, 18 and older.

WHAT - Learn to supervise safe range operations at Narragansett Council Scout Camps. Participants will spend the day learning how to safely handle equipment, instruct participants on basics of shooting sports programs with an emphasis on safety. This course will cover the basics of BB, Archery and Rifle range supervision.

WHERE - Camp Norse - 112 Parting Ways Rd. Kingston, MA 02364

Check-in at Camp Administration Building located on the left after passing the Camp Norse gate.

Participants can park in the dirt lot adjacent to the Administration Building.

WHEN - Saturday, November 14th

Check In/Registration Start time:  8:45AM          End time: 9:00AM

Time Program Begins:  9:00AM               Ends: 4:00PM
