FIRST AID MERIT BADGE AT ADVENTURE BASE CAMP

WHO -  This event for youth 11-17 wanting to learn about first aid techniques and earn the First Aid merit badge.

WHATAn Eagle required merit badge, Scouts learn how to handle a variety of emergency situations while working on the First Aid merit badge: shock, heart attack, cuts, broken bones, hypothermia, bee stings, heatstroke, convulsions, dehydration, pains, cramps, and more. They learn to “Be Prepared” for many types of illnesses and injuries.

Class size is limited to 12 participants to ensure safety protocols are followed and all participants have opportunities to participate and interact with other Scouts and counselors. Adult leadership is provided by Adventure Base Camp staff and all youth protection guidelines are followed. The safety and priority of our Scouts, their families, our staff and community are priority. We have developed specific protocol to ensure the safety and health of all.
