WHO - Open to all Scouts BSA members who holds at least first class rank.
WHAT- Earn the Communications merit badge in two online sessions taught by the Adventure Base Camp staff.

Requirements #5 and #7 must be completed in between the first and second sessions. Details will be discussed during first class.
WHY - The ability to effectively communicate is one of the most important life skills one can develop. Scouting provides a multitude of opportunities to gain these skills, including this Eagle required merit badge! Across the two sessions, topics will range from verbal vs. nonverbal methods of communications to career paths in various fields like broadcasting and journalism.
The Communications Merit Badge will be taught in a virtual classroom. The class has a capacity of 12 Scouts. Small classroom size provides all students with the opportunity to share and interact with the counselors and other Scouts. Scouts should be prepared to be challenged and to join the conversation! Participants who do not engage with the class may not receive credit for the badge.
