IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT:  Based on circumstances beyond our control, the format for this event has gone from the traditional weekend format to a hybrid model.  The “hybrid model” is as follows: the Friday Night program occurs at home and the in-person event occurs on Saturday. Order of the Arrow Ordeal at Camp Norse

WHO - This event is for current Order of the Arrow members and candidates of the Order of the Arrow, who have been elected.

WHAT - A weekend of service, where those elected by their peers will become members of Scouting's National Camping Honor Society. 

WHERE - Camp Norse- 112 Parting Ways Rd. Kingston, MA 02364. 

Check-in at camp will be drive-in style. You will be temperature scanned and medical forms and COVID waivers will be collected. You will be instructed on where to go from your car after checking in.  

Check-In is located outside of the camp office.

Parking Instructions: Parking is located in the main parking lot adjacent to the camp office once you pass through the main gate to camp on the left.

WHY - To join Scouting's National Camping Honor Society. Those elected, who go to an Ordeal, have unique leadership experiences and High Adventure opportunities. This will also help those who attend to meet and work with other Scouts throughout the Council, and can help strengthen their own unit. This is also a great opportunity to become a Brotherhood member of the Order of the Arrow. We are also looking for staff members to help with this Ordeal

Dress in appropriate work clothes for the weekend and bring your full Class A uniform
