COUNSELOR-IN-TRAINING CORPS
Have you ever considered working on the Yawgoog Staff?
Are you interested in developing your leadership skills?
Do you like to be challenged?
Is one week at Camp Yawgoog just not enough?
If so, and you are 14 years old, the Counselor-in-Training Corps is exactly what you are looking for!
Take the opportunity this summer to challenge yourself, learn about leadership and implement the skills you've learned. Founded in 1959 and originally known as the Apprentice-in-Training program, the CIT Corps is the oldest program of its kind in the United States. Designed for those 14-year-olds interested in gaining actual leadership experience, graduates often find themselves more at ease as junior leaders within their troops and many come back to Yawgoog for one or several summers on our top-notch staff.
What you learn in the basic week will be put into action during your "Field"week(s). You will be assigned to a program area within camp and you will work with that staff in that department in an apprentice role.
C.I.T. Corps fees: The fee for the C.I.T. Program is $300. This includes One Basic Week and One Field week. You can elect to add additional Field weeks for $100. Additional Field Weeks are at the bottom of the registration form. No other discounts apply.
