Cub Scout Leader Specific Training gives a leader the knowledge and skills needed to deliver a quality program for their specific position. These trainings cover the same requirements as the online "Cub Leader Specific" courses, but many leaders find the live version more rewarding and more fun! It also gives you a chance to meet other leaders and share ideas and experiences. Once you've completed Youth Protection training (online) and this course, you can proudly wear the "Trained" patch on your uniform. Each training lasts 3 to 4 hours. Below is a description of each training offered:

Den Leader Specific Training

Designed for Tiger, Wolf, Bear, and Webelos den leaders, this course is intended to provide them with the experience, basic information, and resources they need to conduct successful den meetings. The format is based on the seven parts of a Cub Scout den meeting using the Den and Pack Meeting Resource Guide

Cubmaster Specific Training

Cubmasters and Assistant Cubmasters will learn with the basic information they need to conduct successful pack meetings. The course is based on the seven parts of a pack meeting using the Pack Meeting Plans.

Pack Committee Specific Training

This position-specific course for Cub Scout pack committee members is intended to provide members with the basic information they need to support a pack and conduct a successful pack program. The purpose is to familiarize pack committee members with the various responsibilities of the individual members of the committee as well as the committee as a whole. The goal is to help each pack committee work as a team to improve the Scouting experience for adult and youth members.
