COPE at Yawgoog

COPE stands for Challenging Outdoor Personal Experience. Utilizing the High Rope Course at Yawgoog we will be offering this popular and exciting program in the Fall of 2009 at Yawgoog. Climbing Merit Badge and Low COPE will also be offered. You must register for COPE separate from your camping reservation if you want to camp at Yawgoog that weekend as well.

Click on the COPE link next to the weekend you want.

For more information you may speak with Steve Stratton: sstratton@narragansettbsa.org or at 401.351.8700 ext. 37

Canoe Rentals

Canoe rentals are offered at Camp Aquapaug and Cachalot during most of the year. Canoes, paddles, PFDs and a trailer are provided.  The Camp Ranger will notify you of local conditions and all rentals are at the discretion of the Ranger. Canoes are rented by the "rack" - that is 6 canoes with trailer and equipment - rather than individually. Rental term is per weekend. There is a flat fee of $50 per "rack". Additional paddles and PFDs are available for a small fee. Reserve your canoes under the listings for Cachalot or Aquapaug for the weekend you want.
