The Upcoming White Stag Course in Narragansett Council

The next Narragansett Council White Stag NYLT course will be held during the summer of 2009. The course will take place over two weekends: June 20 to June 22 and June 26 to June 28. Both weekends will be held at the Champlin Scout Reservation in Cranston, RI, and attendance at both is required for completion of the course. There is also a mandatory orientation meeting to be held on June 7, 2009 11:00AM to 3:00PM

Eligibility for White Stag is based on three requirements:

• Be 13 years old and a First Class Scout by April 1, 2009
• Be in a major leadership position (SPL or ASPL) or will be in the near future
• Be nominated by the Scoutmaster and Committee Chair of your home troop

The course fee is $185 per scout prior to April 1, 2009. After April 1, 2009 the fee will be $235. The absolute last day to register is April 15, 2009.
