Families in Scouting Discussion and Survey

As one of America’s leading youth-serving organizations, we aim to bring the benefits of Scouting to the greatest number of youth possible — all while remaining true to our mission and core values, outlined in the Scout Oath and Law.  Our national organization is considering new options to bring Scouting to the whole family.

You are invited to learn about these discussions, ask questions, and provide feedback to the Boy Scouts of America on the possibilities.

Please join us for a discussion on Wednesday, September 27 at 7:00 p.m. at Nordson EFD, 40 Catamore Blvd in East Providence as we continue the important conversation about how to make Scouting more accessible to today’s families.  6:45-7:00: sign-in and refreshments, 7:00-8:00: presentation and discussion.

We will have a presentation on what the Boy Scouts of America is considering and why, answer your questions, and have a discussion.  You will then have the opportunity to complete an online survey and provide input directly to our national organization.  You must attend the meeting in order to participate in the survey.
