WHO - Adults looking for Unit Commissioner Basic Training

WHAT - Unit Commissioner Training is for all new Unit Commissioner's to be trained in the following:

1.) Support unit growth in Journey to Excellence

2.) Contact units and capture their strengths and needs in Commissioner Tools

3.) Link unit needs to District Operating Committee resources 

4.) Support timely Charter renewal

Unit Commissioner Basic Training including duties of a UC, My.Scouting.org, Commissioner Tools, Journey to Excellence Introduction

WHERE - Camp Champlin - 223 Scituate Avenue Cranston, RI 02921

Check-in location : After parking in the main parking lot proceed to the right of the Trading Post/Ranger station take the path towards the river over the bridge then take a left and two log cabins will show immediately. The course will be in the Talala cabin.
 

Drive through the entrance of Camp Champlin, the main parking lot will be found straight ahead. 

WHY - We ask all new Unit Commissioners to attend so that they can become familiar and comfortable with all responsibilities of a Unit Commissioner. 

WHEN - Saturday, May 27th 2023

Check-in - 8:15 AM - 8:30 AM 

Training Program - 8:30 AM - 12:00 PM
