Order of the Arrow Ordeal at Yawgoog

WHO - This event is for current Order of the Arrow members, Candidates of the Order of the Arrow who have been elected and Brotherhood Candidates.

Adult Registration: All adults ages 18 and older MUST be currently registered adult members of the Boy Scouts of America to register for and attend this event. If you are not currently registered, you may apply for leadership in a unit through BeAScout.org.

To apply for leadership in your district or council, contact your district executive.

WHAT - A weekend of service, where those elected by their peers will become members of Scouting's National Camping Honor Society. 

WHERE - Yawgoog Scout Reservation - 61 Camp Yawgoog Rd. Rockville, RI 02873

Check-In is located outside of the Bucklin Memorial Building on the Donald North Court. Located west of the main parking lot of Yawgoog Scout Reservation

Parking is located in the Ranger Lot of Yawgoog Scout Reservation. Drive through gate and take first left, drive straight to parking lot area. Parking is also available in Boden Lot which can be found by taking a right before driving though Yawgoog gate and found on the right side of the road.

WHY - To join Scouting's National Camping Honor Society. Those elected, who go to an Ordeal, have unique leadership experiences and High Adventure opportunities. This will also help those who attend to meet and work with other Scouts throughout the Council, and can help strengthen their own unit. 

WHEN - Friday, May 17th - Sunday, May 19th

Check-in on Friday at 6:00PM-7:30PM 

Check-out on Sunday at 10:00 AM

HOW - Register online today!

Participants should bring personal camping gear.

Casual dress during the day. Full Uniform required for weekend activities.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be provided on Saturday.
