The final step in the Yawgoog planning process is the Barbecue for Scoutmasters and Senior Patrol Leaders the Tuesday prior to your arrival at Camp.  Great food, great fun and great opportunities to finalize your Troop’s program await!  This is the last informational session before Camp, so it’s very important. Join us for our Tuesday Night Barbecue the Tuesday prior to your week of Yawgoog.  In addition to a great meal, we have opportunities for each Unit to prepare for their week of Yawgoog by signing up for or asking about:

• Theme and Program of the Week
•  Water Sports
• High Ropes Course
• Over-Night Across the Pond
• Policies and Procedures

• Final Payments and Medical Forms
• Campsite Accommodations
• Adventure Island
• Incentives
• Honor Troop
• Merit Badges

Each Troop will have the opportunity to meet with our three Camp Directors as well as our seven Program Commissioners. Come enjoy a great night of fellowship while you ensure the best possible summer camp experience for you Troop!

If your Troop leaders are unable to attend the Barbecue or to send a suitable proxy, be sure to mail in your Program Request Sheet 1 month prior to your week at Camp.  In other words, they’re due with your final payments!  This gives you Program Commissioner plenty of time to schedule your events.

The Barb’ begins at 6:30PM on the Donald North Court at Camp.  Please plan to arrive around 6:15PM to check in at the Bucklin Memorial.  Activities should be over by 8:30PM.
