Membership Resources

All membership applications are online. Utilize BeAScout.org for all unit level applications, both youth and adults.  

If an adult is looking to apply for a district or council level position, please contact the appropriate District Executive to receive the correct link. Please note that Merit Badge Counselors must register at the district level before submitting a Merit Badge Counselor Info Sheet to the council.  

The Narragansett Council has an additional background check requirement for adults, the CORI check. The form and instructions will be emailed to applicants as needed. This check is only done concurrently with an application.  

BeAScout.org 

If you are a unit leader, make sure your unit listing (called a “pin”) on the website BeAScout.org has the correct leader contact information and meeting information for your unit. BeAScout.org is likely going to be the first search result that shows up when a family looks online for information on how to join Scouting, so it’s important that your unit’s information is up to date.
