The Benefits of Selling Popcorn!
1) NO RISK! There are no upfront costs; you only pay for what you sell!
2) The Council accepts returns. We take back what you can’t sell.
Returns will not be accepted after the deadline, and the Unit will be charged for the items.
We encourage you to return your extra product early so it can be distributed to other units that need it.
*Note that since this is a food product, the Council cannot return any product to the manufacturer. Please be courteous when ordering products.
3) You'll be able to fund your Scouting adventures all year long.

5) An online sales platform allows 24/7 availability nationwide, and products are shipped directly to the customer (direct-to-consumer).

*The Camp Masters ordering system uses Scouting America National ID's as opposed to unit #'s to avoid any duplicate #'s. Please use this document to find your Unit ID. (Ex. Troop 1 Narragansett is in the system as Unit ID 98795)

General Information:

Commission Structure/Finances:
Over 70% of the dollars raised are returned to Scouting! Each Unit will receive a 38% Base Commission.
Units can also opt out of the prize program and earn a base of 40% commission. However, the entire Unit must opt out, and no Scout receives the Council Prizes.
The Unit Kernel must inform the Council Popcorn Kernel by September 30th in writing.

May 30th: Unit Leaders commit to 2026 Fall Popcorn Sale. Click here to complete the form.
June 9th: BOOM Event
June 25th: Popcorn Kickoff *Registration is within the Unit commitment form.
August 8th: Unit Show & Sell Orders Due into the system
August 25th: Scout focused popcorn kickoff event
August 29th: Show & Sell Distribution Day
October 17th: Full Return Day - Last day to return any/all products for no charge
After this date, units can only return 15% of their total order or pay a restocking fee.
To submit an online Popcorn Payment, SUBMIT HERE, which will direct you to BlackPug to pay online.
October 30th: Take Order Popcorn Order due by 11:59 pm in the Camp Masters System
****Show and Sell must be paid online by 11:59pm or bring to Final returns on 10/31.
October 31st: Payment Due & Final popcorn return day
November 21st: Take Order Distribution Day
Top Sellers Fun Day: TDB
December 4th: Final Payments Deadline **
*Payment for Show-N-Sell items sold will be required before your order is approved.
**Late payment notice:
If your 2026 balance is not paid in full by December 5th, your unit will receive a maximum of 35% commission, 3% less than the standard commission.
