
CAMPMASTER TRAINING AT CAMP NORSE
WHO - This event is for registered adult Scouters. The council Campmaster Corps is a function of Camping Services of Narragansett Council. The Corp is a group of trained Scouters who serve their respective council camps on weekends throughout the year. They assist units toward successful outdoor programming with commissioner-type services.
WHAT - Attend this training to obtain current Council Campmaster Training needed for campmaster certification.
WHERE - Camp Norse, 112 Parting Ways Ln. Kingston, MA
- Check-in at the Camp Norse Scouting Museum
- parking is available in the main camp parking lot, after driving through the front gate
WHY - Campmaster training is needed along with individual camp orientation and serving two weekends with a certified/experienced campmaster to obtain council campmaster certification.
WHEN - Saturday, September 17, 2022
- check-in at 9:00 AM - training will begin shortly after
- training runs from 9:00 AM - 12 Noon
HOW - Register online today!!
- Scout uniform is not required.
- Includes handouts
- Be sure to bring a pen and paper for notes.
- Individuals will need to complete an additional adult registration as a council campmaster, with no additional fee.
- Bring a copy of your youth protection certification.
- Campmaster patches will be distributed by individual camp senior campmasters.
