For parents and unit leaders
How are elections held?
A Tulpe Lodge team visits your unit, usually early in the year. Only youth members vote. Unit leaders can request a visit on the lodge website.
Is the OA safe?
Yes. All Scouting America youth protection policies apply, hazing is never allowed, and parents may review the ceremonies.
What does it cost?
A one-time Ordeal fee (usually covering meals, sash, patch, handbook, and first-year dues), then small annual dues. See event pages for current amounts.
Can adults join?
Yes. Registered adults 21 and older can be nominated by their unit committee and approved by the lodge.
