Common questions

How do I check which trainings I’ve completed?

Log in to my.scouting.org and open your training record. Your unit’s training report also shows who is trained for their position.

I finished a course, but my record doesn’t show it. What now?

In-person courses can take a few weeks to post. If it still isn’t there, contact the council office with the course name and date.

Do parents who help out need training?

Any registered adult needs Safeguarding Youth Training. Parents attending overnight activities may need it as well; ask your unit leader about current requirements.

Is there a cost for training?

Online courses are free. In-person courses may have a fee for meals, materials or camp use, listed on each calendar event.
