What Is Scouting?
Scouting helps youth build confidence, leadership skills, friendships, and a love of outdoor adventure. Activities include camping, hiking, community service, STEM projects, and family-friendly events led by trained local volunteers.
Getting Started Is Easy
1. Find a local group Use the map or visit BeAScout.org to find a Pack or Troop near you.
2. Meet the leaders Attend a local event or contact a unit to learn more.
3. Join the adventure Register online and start participating in meetings and activities.
